Iverson and Skinner Reviewed at RBL

June 17, 2012

Last summer the Society of Biblical Literature Press published Mark as Story: Retrospect and Prospect, a book that Kelly Iverson and I shepherded through a long and occasionally difficult editorial process. I am pleased to see the book’s first review by Adam Winn over at the Review of Biblical Literature. I am even more pleased that Winn’s review is so positive. In particular, Winn notes that the book’s second essay, written by Mark Allan Powell, “should be required reading for all first year New Testament doctoral candidates.” That is high praise, indeed.
